To provide interested and committed clown students from all walks of life a comprehensive clown education program. Also providing students with energetic, interactive, safe and fun clowning skills.

Nestled in the beautiful fields of Indiana is a clown jewel, the birthplace of Red Skelton. There you find a University and a Community that understands the importance of recognizing and promoting clown excellence under the marquee of its very own favorite son. The University and the Community are able to provide what no other can. Vincennes has a rich clown history, not only the birthplace of one of America’s GREAT clowns, but a nationally recognized performing arts center. Streets rich with clowning history and soon a Museum that will contain an extensive collection of Red Skelton’s memorabilia, second to none.
Vincennes University
Vincennes University campus is a wonderful setting for the Clown School. The classrooms, dorms, cafeteria and auditoriums will provide the peaceful surroundings needed to encourage learning. Many classes will have the opportunity to move outdoors which will add to the enjoyment of juggling, water spitting, pie throwing and much more. Buildings are handicapped accessible, and elevators are available. A visit to Vincennes University and Red Skelton Clown School will remain with the students for a lifetime. The students will have visited Historical Sites, learned clowning skills, received great advice from veteran clown instructors, made new friends and developed clown confidence.
